Description
This vintage footstool has been given an imaginative transformation to create a charming and unique piece of furniture.
I love to blend my textile art with traditional upholstery skills. Using applique and machine embroidery, I have created an original design of gingko leaves in gold silk.
A lovely soft olive green velvet has been used to cover the footstool and a gold fringe trim finishes it off perfectly.
This footstool has the original wooden legs, which have been cleaned up and had a little wax polish applied.
If you are worried about spoiling this footstool with your big feet then don’t be. All my designs are created to be used as well as admired. However, I would recommend you take your boot off first.
