Footstool with Embroidered Crane Design. This lovely vintage footstool, has been completely re-upholstered in a stunning teal velvet and aqua linen fabric.
Inspired by a print by from the fabulous colourful retro artwork by Mr Watson, it features an egret or a crane (I am not really sure) paddling amongst the bull rushes. Calm and tranquil.
The crane is appliqued in white velvet, and silver and white thread have been used for the machine and hand embroidery.
The original legs have been painted in a matching colour and finished with two coats of wax for a durable finish. The result is an utterly unique piece of furniture, something to be treasured for ever.
Please be assured, this lovely footstool has been designed to be used as well as admired. The footstool is a good sized, solid piece of furniture.
