A Date for your Diary ....

A Date for your Diary ....

I have been told I must blog more.  I know this too but it doesn’t always come naturally to me, I kind of think ‘who wants to know what I am up to?  I don’t live that exciting a life’.  But, I am reliably informed that people are naturally nosy sorry, I meant interested …

So, I intend to share with you at the beginning of each month (this is a big commitment on my part especially as most of the time I don’t know what day it is never mind what month;) little snippets of what each month means to me, what’s happening in my workshop and garden, what I will be working on, the fabrics and colours that inspire me and why.

I am even going to go to put a little mood board together like they do in posh magazines except mine will probably be a bit more ‘rustic’.

Plus, my lovely friend, Hayley Cooper has agreed to let me use some of her beautiful photographs for my  blog, she is a very talented photographer and seems to effortlessly capture the most stunning photographs  just using her camera on her phone – no fancy camera equipment.

I, on the other hand manage to cut people’s heads off or get the wheelie bin in the background of almost any  outside photo shoot.  I will have you know that this is a special talent of mine and not to be laughed at.  I am  confident that one day Damien Hirst or Tracey Emin will be in touch to discuss using this unique art form for  one of their pieces in the Tate Gallery.

In the meantime you will shortly have my August mood board to entertain you ….
